Tsarevich Couture, Inc. is the manifestation of creative force, Greg Tinder.
Greg started his company in 1998 and has been creating exquisite custom made furs and evening wear for individual clients ever since. It is important to understand that Greg is a one man show, a true couturier. He will speak with you personally to discuss your ideas, provide sketches to finalize the details, design a pattern from your measurements, translate the pattern into a fitting canvas so that you know exactly how your new garment will fit, and finally he will personally cut and sew your new creations into reality. At Tsarevich Couture, “custom” isn’t just a word, it’s a lifestyle.
Before starting TC, Tinder graduated from college with a BA in Interior Architecture and minored in Apparel Design and Pattern Making. While in college and shortly after graduation, Greg ran a successful couturier but gave it up to secure a much wanted position with Saks Fifth Avenue. While working with couture at Saks, his interest in fur peaked and he found himself working within that department. There he spent several years apprenticing under master furriers, learning to distinguish the subtle features of quality fur skins and craftsmanship; and navigating through the technical difficulties of sewing and crafting superior fur items. In 1998 Tinder’s diligence and hard work paid off when he was awarded the title, Master Furrier. Shortly thereafter, Tinder left Saks in favor of starting his own business, the present day Tsarevich Couture, Inc.
Today, Greg and Tsarevich Couture are located on the coast of Penobscot Bay in Northport, Maine. From his home based studio he works with clients throughout the world. Through the use of the modern web technologies, delivery services, and travel; Greg is able to provide superior and personal customer service throughout the entire project. All you need to get started is an email address, and he’ll take care of the rest.
Quality is the keystone to every Tsarevich creation. Weather it’s the quality of the fur itself or the best method of manufacturing, no details escapes Greg’s constant scrutiny. It is only when he is completely satisfied with a project; that Greg will personally sew his label into your new creation. This label is your personal guarantee of ongoing superior customer service and quality.
