Reviving a Tradition
Reviving the tradition of presenting a fur coat to the winner of the Miss Maine pageant, the Maine Trapper's Association (MTA) teamed with Tsarevich Furs in creating a sheared beaver coat to present at the crowning of the 2004 Miss Maine. The coat was such a success that the tradition continues!

The idea of presenting a coat to the winner was discontinued a decade ago and was revived by Toby Montgomery of the MTA.
